HPH Back in the Saddle for Bike Bath 2015
HPH Ltd has once again pledged its support to the annual Bike Bath event scheduled for July.
The company is a long standing supporter of the event which encourages people of all ages and abilities to get in the saddle and take on a 25, 50 or 80 mile cycling challenge.
Bike Bath, now in its fourth year, will take place on Sunday 5th July and will invite cyclists to take on one of three routes around Bath and the surrounding area.
Cycling has seen a surge in popularity in recent years with many people turning to pedal power for the health, environmental and financial benefits, and Bike Bath is expecting to see an increase in numbers for this year’s event.
Managing Director of HPH Ltd, Lindsay Holdoway said, “Bike Bath is fast becoming a key part of the city’s sporting calendar and we’re proud to have offered our support from the outset.
“HPH is a company which prides itself on being environmentally responsible, and so an event that encourages people to cycle fits in well with our ethos. Richard and the team at Bike Bath have done a fantastic job of getting this event off the ground in recent years and we’re looking forward to sponsoring the event and taking part this year.”
Lindsay Holdoway has already signed up for the event along with his son John.
Bike Bath organiser Richard Best said, “HPH is a fantastic advocate of the event and it’s great to have the support and financial backing of a key local business. Bike Bath 2015 will be bigger and better than ever this year with over 1,500 riders expected to take part. We couldn’t do it without support from companies like HPH Ltd, and I would like to thank Lindsay for coming on board once again.”
