Property Company Invests in New City Centre Car Park

As the recent squeeze on parking spaces in central Bath leaves some commuters struggling to find a space, one city centre business has invested in its own car park.

HPH Commercial Property based on Kingsmead Square has bought a car park on Monmouth Place which will provide parking spaces for up to 20 cars, just a few minutes’ walk from Bath city centre.

The designated spaces will be available from 1st January 2015 at a cost of £2,400 per annum, over £100 cheaper than the nearest B&NES owned car park at Charlotte Street.

The recent announcement of the closure of the Avon Street car park means that the city is set to lose 630 parking spaces within the next 12 months.

The Monmouth Place car park will be available to users 24/7 and security measures include CCTV and a barrier.
