Communication Links and Office Technology Attracts Water Giant to Chippenham
Ovivo, a world leader in engineered water treatment solutions, has signed a 10 year deal that will see the company open new UK offices at Bewley House in Chippenham.
The company has over 200 years experience in the sector and has offices in 21 countries employing 1500 people and the new offices in Chippenham are set be an integral part of the company's operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The state of the art technology infrastructure available at Bewley House, on site parking, Chippenham's high speed rail line to London and proximity to the M4 really impressed Ovivo and were key to attracting the company to the Wiltshire town.
Stephen Kennedy, Integrated Solutions Group Manager for Ovivo explained, "Our Integrated Solutions Team, who will be based at Bewley House, will provide environmental engineering solutions for wastewater treatment throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa."
"In addition to the transportation links, the high speed internet connections available at Bewley House will allow us to communicate with our other offices and clients via Video Conferencing, thereby reducing our greenhouse gas emissions."
Bewley House is owned and managed by forward-thinking HPH Commercial Property based in Bath. Managing Director Lindsay Holdoway said, "Ovivo are a great addition to Bewley House. Like many modern companies Ovivo needs good communication links both digitally and on the ground, and Bewley House is ideally placed to deliver both. The availability of fibre-optic broadband in Chippenham, including BT's Infinity and superfast broadband for the building will benefit all our tenants and being only a few minutes walk from the London rail line and a 10 minute drive from the M4, it makes Bewley House and Chippenham a great site for any company looking for the total communications package."
