HPH EMPLOYS STATE OF THE ART REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM AT WARMINSTER INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
Leading Commercial Property Company Teams up with Global Pump Manufacturer to Install Revolutionary New System

HPH Commercial Property, a leading provider of industrial, office and retail premises throughout South West England, has teamed up with international company ITT Flygt, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of submersible pumps, to provide a new monitoring system for the pumps at it’s Northlands Industrial Estate in Warminster.

Occupiers on the site include Transoceanic Meat Co., Giles Foods and Elms Cross Packaging. Property managers at HPH who maintain the industrial estate have implemented a remote monitoring system of the site pumping station operation, comprising Flygt pumps, to receive early warning of a potential environmental hazard. Working with the company and its partner, Dynamic Logic, an SMS text messaging system has been installed. Whilst significant capital outlay was required, the system will result in lower service charges and minimise the risk of any environmental remediation costs or interruption to the business occupiers on the estate.

Commenting on behalf of HPH Commercial Property, property manager Alexandra Bates, says, “The outstation has been installed for just over two months. During that time the technology has allowed us to effectively monitor the performance of the pumping station remotely, and attend site for maintenance, only as and when required. We can now also be sure of acting quickly should any problems arise on site, minimising the risk of any environmental damage and consequent remediation works. We are pleased with the installation and are now looking to apply similar technology elsewhere in our portfolio, specifically to reduce environmental risks and improve energy efficiency and performance of our buildings
