Centre Offices Now Fully Occupied Following Latest Tenancy Agreements
Wiltshire County Council have agreed a 15 year lease on the remaining space at Bewley House, Chippenham. The deal, which was completed earlier this month, sees the council occupy 7,600 sq.ft. of office space at a rate of £13.75 per sq. ft.
The Council will be moving two departments into the new premises, the Department of Adult Care Services and the Department of Adult Learning, towards the end of May.
Commenting on the agreement Lindsay Holdoway, Managing Director at HPH said: “We are extremely pleased to have completed this agreement on the final space in Bewley House. The work carried out not only on the property itself, but on the surrounding area as a whole, has helped change the centre of Chippenham into an area which is much more attractive to new businesses and retail companies alike. The continued work being carried out to landscape the area around the Western Arches, combined with new businesses moving to the area, is ensuring that the New Road area of Chippenham town centre now has promising times ahead.”
