HPH Commercial Property has acquired an industrial unit at Corsham’s Leafield Industrial Estate. The Company already owns four other units on the estate and this acquisition consolidates their holding of 75,000 sq ft.
The property comprises 20,000 sq ft and is occupied by defence contractor Leafield Engineering Ltd who hold a lease until March 2013. Leafield Engineering produce systems for weapons and aerospace applications and specialise in the development and manufacture of products which require the integration of explosive, mechanical and electronic expertise.
HPH acquired the property from a London based investor and aim to form a constructive relationship with their tenant using their experience of the area and buildings on the estate together with their property management expertise to assist the smooth running of the building and reduce the cost of certain fixed overheads.
Commenting on the acquisition, Lindsay Holdoway, Managing Director of HPH Ltd, said: “Leafield Engineering are a major employer in the area and we are very much looking forward to working with them.
