A business centre in the heart of Chippenham has welcomed three new tenants, suggesting that some parts of the local commercial property market may be showing signs of recovery.
With its central location, Station Hill House, located at the intersection with New Road, has recently proven popular with smaller local businesses looking to maintain offices in the heart of Chippenham. CMD Recruitment, Quick Fast Claims and uVe Ltd have all recently moved into the first and second floor office space, joining 4 other businesses.
The property, owned by local firm HPH Commercial Property, proved an attractive proposition for the three companies, having been recently refurbished and available with an all-inclusive rental agreement meaning no additional power or service charges for the building.
One of the companies to snap up space in the prime location is uVe Ltd, a team of independent consultants providing a range of technical services in the field of civil and military aviation throughout the UK and Europe. The close proximity to transport links and straightforward rental contract were key factors in its decision to relocate from serviced offices in Corsham.
John Barrass, Director of uVe Ltd said, "We were looking to be more efficient in our leasing arrangements and Station Hill House met all our requirements."
"The offices are bright and we have more space than we did in our previous office, which we actually paid more for. It's also very convenient being in the town centre – we're close to amenities including the bank, and the train station is two minutes away which is very convenient as I often travel to London on business," he added.
