This listed grade I building is located at the heart of Bath’s business quarter adjacent to the world renowned Circus and close to the Royal Crescent. Prior to our acquisition of the building it had been used as a doctor’s surgery for nearly 100 years. HPH carried out an extensive refurbishment and restoration programme to provide 2,800 sq ft (260 m˛) of office accommodation within this period building. The refurbishment by HPH focussed on upgrading the building with energy efficiency and sustainability being among the principal drivers in the design. As a result HPH were awarded a “BREEAM excellent” rating from the Building Research Establishment in 1995. It is understood that this was the first ever “BREEAM excellent” rating awarded for the refurbishment of an office building which demonstrated HPH’s pioneering intentions in the area of energy efficiency and sustainability.The building is fully let to the Regent Organisation, independent financial advisors.
