Team Hawke Ridge Takes on Bike Bath 2016
The team behind Wiltshire’s brand new, state of the art business park were in the saddle on 3rd of July for the fourth annual Bike Bath event.
The Hawke Ridge Business Park development team entered a total of 20 riders into the sportive with its cyclists taking part in the 20, 50 and 80 mile rides around Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Cyclists from Bath based HPH, who own the business park, and from the Bath and Oxford offices of business park agents Carter Jonas comprised the team.
Managing director of HPH Ltd, Lindsay Holdoway, said, “Bike Bath is a brilliant event that helps to get people active and encourages them to enjoy the scenic West Country on two wheels.
“HPH has supported the event since 2012, and this year Wiltshire’s brand new Hawke Ridge Business Park was a principal sponsor. It is fantastic to see Bike Bath growing in popularity amongst people from all walks of life and promoting cycling throughout the region.”
Alison Williams, head of Carter Jonas’ south west industrial team, said: “We were really lucky with the weather and it was a beautiful ride through some of the area’s prettiest countryside – all while raising money for a really good cause.”
“The atmosphere was fantastic and we also got to meet Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams on the day who was an ambassador for the event.”
The first phase of work is now complete at the £50 million Hawke Ridge Business Park near Westbury. The 35-acre development will provide more than half a million square feet of much-needed modern facilities for local businesses and support over 1,000 jobs when it is complete.
