HPH completes four lettings at Woodland Industrial Estate

Wiltshire industrial market showing strong performance with demand for space in Westbury

Demand for industrial and logistics property across the UK remains high and recent lettings in Wiltshire by property company HPH demonstrates the market’s strength in the county.

Despite economic and political uncertainty in the UK, companies are showing resilience and continuing to seek industrial and logistics space to meet their needs.

HPH have recently completed four lettings totalling over 30,000 sq ft at their Woodland Industrial Estate in Westbury.

Inplace Interiors have taken on Units 1c and 2, 5,600 sq ft and 12,700 sq ft on 5 and 10 year leases respectively.

Get It Cleared, the professional house, office and waste clearing specialists, have signed a 10-year lease on Unit 3, 7,400 sq ft. Martin Bell, Director from the company said: “We were so pleased this unit was available, as our business needs shifted and increased, there was nowhere comparable in the area and we can still sell direct to the public in this location. It has been such a positive move for us, HPH have been so responsive and helpful, we have settled in immediately and we are looking forward to continued success in 2023.”

Edge Energy Ltd has also recently completed a 7-year lease on Unit 4, 5,125 sq ft. The company has a global reputation as a developer and manufacturer of downhole electromechanical intervention tools and wireline logging hardware.

Lindsay Holdoway, managing director of HPH said: “Our recent refurbishment of these units, including upgrades to insulation and energy-efficient lighting, has been completed to the highest standards and will directly benefit our tenants. As a result, we have seen a surge in demand from businesses across various sectors, such as storage, manufacturing, and transport. We are delighted to have agreed these four new leases however we acknowledge the challenge posed by recent rateable value increases and high energy costs but there remains a scarcity of quality industrial space in the region and nationwide. Although there are challenges, we remain confident in Wiltshire's growth prospects due to its highly skilled workforce, excellent transportation links, and reputation as an attractive location for businesses and residents alike."

Carter Jonas acted for HPH Ltd in all four lettings.
